Clara E. Wordelman

Clara Betsy E. Wordelman 12/6/1922 9/21/2011

Clara Betsy Wordelman passed away peacefully at the University of Utah Medical Center on September 21, 2011 at the age of 88. Betsy was born in St. Louis Missouri and lived most of her life in Missouri and Utah. She married Fred A. Wordelman in 1940 and spent more than 50 years with him prior to his death.

Betsy worked at Univac in Salt Lake City for many years and also served as a caregiver for many older adults keeping them independent in their own homes. She was a member of the Bountiful Eastern Star and served as Chaplin for several terms. Betsy was an avid stock car racing fan cheering her grandson Brian in to many victories.

Betsy is survived by her children William, Joyce Dews, James, and Donald, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one sister, Alice Beam.

A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in California, Missouri on September 29, 2011.
