Clara Miller

April 27, 1942 — August 11, 2013

Clara Louise Pedro Miller passed away August 11, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 27, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Samuel Joseph Pedro and Norma Harrison.

Louise was raised in Midvale, Utah and was the youngest of three children. She graduated from Jordan High School. Her career began at the young age of 18 for Walker Bank and spanned 50 years working at First Interstate Bank, Wells Fargo and US Bank in the field of Private Client Services.

She married Spencer James Burton and had three children, Chad, Amy and Joy. She was a member of the LDS Church and held various callings, but her passion and deep love was for leading music in the various wards and stakes in which she resided. She had a beautiful alto voice and loved to harmonize.

She lived with very high standards for herself and always wanted to look her very best. She strived to do things to perfection. Her ability to write and read well were very important attributes and served her well throughout her life. She was hard working, detailed and sophisticated.

She was a good and loyal friend. She cherished her friendships with those she worked with as well as her lifelong church and neighborhood friends. One of her fondest memories was her monthly breakfasts at Little America with her favorite ladies.

She has now been reunited with her best friend and sister Dolores. These two little songbirds are singing once again. Our families will remember them for singing sweet little rounds whenever they were together.

Louise is survived by her brother Harrison Pedro (LaRee), Wallsburg, UT; David Chad Burton, Simpsonville, SC; Amy Glaubensklee (William), Herriman, UT; Joy Baker (Rex), Salem, OR; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dolores.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Amy Glaubensklee and her family for the loving care they provided Grandma Moki since she became ill. We are grateful to the doctors, nurses and caregivers for their tender care.
