Clinton James Carroll, 45, was born on October 9, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gary and Betty Carroll. He passed away in South Carolina on May 27, 2018. Clint was a talented woodworker and craftsman. He applied those talents as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He also worked for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control for the last 12 years. Clint graduated from Utah State University. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his beloved dogs, Sadie and Bailey.
Clint is survived by his parents and siblings, Pamela (Darryl) Silberman, Travis Carroll, and Devin (Melissa) Carroll. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Nathan (Kenzie) Silberman, Kamille (Rhett) Carter, Kyler Silberman, Aidan Carroll, Mason Carroll, Orion Carroll, and great-nephew Brix Carter. Clint was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Pruitt and is survived by her children Jeff and Sierra.
An open-house remembrance will be held at Clint’s home, located at 129 Jason Ct., Boiling Springs, South Carolina, on Thursday, June 7th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Casual attire is requested to reflect Clint’s character.
Memorial services in Utah will be held at Russon Mortuary 1941 North Main St. Farmington, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 15th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 16th with a viewing prior from 10:00-10:45 am. Clint will be laid to rest at the Farmington City Cemetery.
