Coleen Marie Rushworth

Coleen Marie Rushworth, 85, passed away August 7, 2018. Our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and friend left this earth surrounded in love with her family at her side. Born October 15, 1932 to Willard and Thelma Manning. Graduated from West High School in 1949. Married Harold Rushworth on March 16, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She loved baking and always had a sweet treat for anyone who came to the house. She also enjoyed doing crafts. She was a homemaker through and through. She took great pride in her home and family. Her greatest joy was found in life’s simple pleasures and spending time with family and friends. We know the reunion in heaven is just one more reason for a family party.

Her life was spent in the service of others.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and held various callings throughout her life.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Harold, her parents Willard and Thelma, her son Craig and her grandson Kael. Survived by her children: Lynette, Lorraine (Neil), Richard (Meranda), Lonnie (Darrell), Lory (Jeremy), Layne (Brigette) and her daughter-in-law Kathie.  Also survived by her sister Kay (Terry-deceased), 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

All services will be held at the Jordan 3rd Ward LDS Chapel at 3676 W 4700 S in Taylorsville, UT. There will be a viewing on Monday, August 13 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, August 14 from 10-10:45 AM. Funeral will be Tuesday August 14 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
