Coleen Trimming Clark

March 12, 1939 — July 1, 2018

Coleen Trimming Clark passed away peacefully July 1, 2018 at Legacy House in Bountiful, Utah.  Coleen was born March 12, 1939 in Pocatello Idaho to John Edward and Gladys Trimming.  She was the middle child of their 3 children and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1957.

She married Wayne Norris Clark on June 11, 1958 in the Idaho Falls Temple.  Together they raised their three children in Laie Hawaii, Fresno California and after retirement settled in Syracuse Utah.

She met the love of her life at Institute.  Date nights included trips to the water treatment and public swimming pools for samples that would be part of her master thesis.  She was a graduate of Utah State University and received a Masters from Fresno State University in Public Heath. She enjoyed sewing, golf and played the bass violin.  She was known for her witty sense of humor, crack up jokes, daily trips to Costco and always had a Diet Coke. Coleen was a devote member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holding many callings throughout her years.
 
Survived by her husband Wayne Norris Clark; Children: Paul (Gwen) Clark, Jenee Clark (Rich Davis) and Michael (Cindy) Clark; brother John (Norma)Trimming; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, brother in law Albert Horrocks and best friend and sister Ione Trimming Horrocks.

The family would like to thank Legacy House of Bountiful and Maryann and Cindy from Caregivers for their wonderful care and support.

Funeral services and viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary 295 N Main Bountiful, UT. Viewing will be Thursday, July 5, 9:30 am – 10:45 am.  Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am.  Coleen will be buried in the Logan City Cemetery family plot next to Ira and Jenneta Clark.
