Colleen Feller Buhler age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Centerville surrounded by her loved ones. Colleen was born November 28, 1930 to Parley Jack and Mary Warner Feller in Denver, Colorado. She grew up as the only girl with two older brothers to tease and protect her. Colleen attended Davis High School. She married Glenn LeRoy Buhler on August 6, 1948. The two spent 66 beautiful years together traveling, boating, and enjoying life. Colleen had a passion for art, music, design and learning. At a young age she won a talent contest singing and playing her guitar at a local country western radio station. Colleen attended the University of Utah studying music, interior design and philosophy. She later joined a popular female band known as the Paramore 4 as the lead guitar and vocalist. The band played shows in Utah, Wyoming and Nevada. Later, Colleen became a designer in the ZCMI interior design studio. After leaving the band she studied art and developed into an accomplished oil painter with an intense attention to detail. Collen also studied floral arranging and sold her arrangements all around the state. She served in her church, working with the youth. Colleen is survived by children; Craig (Janet) Buhler of Kaysville, Danny Buhler of Bountiful and Renee (Rick) Gunn South Jordan; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Parley Jack and Mary Feller, her brother Carl and Don Feller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment – Bountiful Cemetery. Colleen, you will be deeply missed.
