Colleen Ingram Sizemore slipped from our grasp July 22, 2011. Colleen was born in Nephi, Utah on June 18th, 1932 to George Bigler Ingram and Lucille Amelia Foote Ingram. Colleen cherished life and enjoyed all the adventures it brought her way. Always ready to travel and explore, she loved living abroad in Japan as well as various locations in the United States from Texas to Utah to Washington and Hawaii. A dedicated employee and hard worker, Colleen completed a successful career as a civil servant for the US Federal Government where her quick intelligence fostered her ability to excel in short-hand, typing and accounting. She loved to fill her home with family and friends; everyone was always welcome, made comfortable and well-fed with one of Colleens delicious roasts cooked on the Hibachi Pot or large simmering pot of Mexican Food. Colleen always put the needs of others before her own; making sure her children never went without anything needed for sports and school activities. She often attended to the needs of her siblings who she loved so dearly. Colleens family meant the world to her and always came first. Always one to see the bright side of every situation and make the best of whatever came her way, she faced health challenges life presented her with determination and courage. She never complained! Always a fighter ready to take on every day she never gave up even in the face of extreme personal hardship. Colleens example of compassion, love and unselfishness will long be remembered and be an example to those who knew and loved her. Colleen is survived by her sons Tony D. Holmstead, (Salt Lake City); Scott R. Sizemore (Christi), Stafford, Virginia, Brett B. Sizemore, Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter Christina Sizemore Gomm (Troy), of West Bountiful. She will be loved and missed by her surviving siblings; her brother, Karl R. Ingram and sisters Mary-Jo, Lucinda and Claudia Ingram. She has 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Her daughter Debra Wray preceded her in death.
