Connie Borrowman

November 20, 1921 — March 19, 2015

Connie (Constance) Hansen Borrowman passed away March 19, 2015, following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Rigby, ID on November 20, 1921 to Alfred E. T. Hansen and Mabel Leah Chandler.  She grew up in Idaho Falls and married her sweetheart, S. Ralph Borrowman, on Nov. 14, 1941 in the Logan Temple.  They were blessed with six children. She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor, her boundless energy, and her enthusiasm for love and life. She loved brain teasers and word puzzles, and always appreciated a good joke. Connie was a “super secretary” and was proud of attaining her Certified Public Secretary degree, passing the five exams with flying colors.  She worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Utah Division of Water Resources for many years.  She loved being a mother and was active in her church and community, with many friends. She loved and cherished each precious child and grandchild. She had a beautiful soprano singing voice and loved people, poetry, college football and the Utah Jazz.  She is survived by her sister, Rhoda Miller, her children Sandy (Phil), Judy, Darrell (Barb), Barbara, Elaine, and Bruce (Kit), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at the LDS church on 1250 S. Main in Bountiful, UT, at 11:00 am.  A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 24, from 6:00-8:00pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, UT, and on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
