Connie Eileen Barber Elison

Connie Eileen Barber Elison was born June 21, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the second daughter of Earl Vernon Barber and Orpha Lois Fenwick. She is survived by her husband Garth Elison, sister Gayle Perkins, and four children Kevin, Grant, Nichole, and Valerie. Her third son, Thomas, tragically passed away on June 20, 2018. It was her desire that Tom’s ashes be buried with her so that she could have him close to her forever.
Connie always had such a fierce independence and love of life. She had many trials in life starting with losing her father at a young age and struggling through the intricacies of married and parental relationships. Despite these difficulties she kept moving forward taking part in activities that brought her such joy. She loved crafts of all kinds, from card making, crocheting, painting to ceramics and found many opportunities to share her creations with others.
She passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She can now be re-united with those she loved so much that passed before her and find rest from the burdens of life that surrounded her.
