Connie Mary Waddoups Foy

Connie Mary Waddoups Foy of Kaysville, Utah returned with honor to her Heavenly home on August 10, 2018. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 23, 1937 to Mary Burningham Stoker and Vivien Benson Waddoups. She married Leslie Tuttle Foy on March 21, 1957.

Connie attended Davis High School and Brigham Young University where she was a member of the school debate teams. She has worked for the State Tax Commission, Hammond Tots and Toys, The LDS Church Finance Department, and Russon Brothers Mortuary.

Connie’s life was filled with service where she was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her church service has included Primary President, YW President, Ward and Stake Relief Society President, Stake missionary, and Gospel Doctrine Teacher. She was an ordinance worker at the Bountiful LDS temple prior to serving a full-time mission with her husband in Düsseldort, Germany in 1996.

Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children: Tom and Jana Foy, Judy and Max Wallace, Shelly and Mark Burningham, Mike and Michelle Foy, Kristi and Jay Thompson, and Jeff and Keta Foy. Connie and Les have 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is also survived in death by her sister Patricia Howard (Rod), and her brothers William Mark Waddoups (Ranae) and Richard B. Waddoups (Sandy) and sister-in-law Kathy Waddoups, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Judene Waddoups, her brother, Jerry Vee Waddoups and great grandson, Keith King.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 16th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Kaysville 22nd ward building, 201 South 600 East, Kaysville. A Viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 15 at the Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington and from 9:30-10:30 am on August 16 at the Kaysville 22nd Ward. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
