Conway Parsons Tingey, 74, passed away September 16, 2012 at his country farm in Fillmore, Utah. Conway was born August 17, 1938 in Salt Lake City. A son of Wesley Earl and Ivy Parsons Tingey, He was the youngest of 14 children and served faithfully in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Conway grew up on the Tingey family farm in Centerville, he loved all aspects of animals and farm life raising horses, sheep, goats and grandkids. He loved puttering in the yard. He worked for Foss Lewis Construction Co. and Phillips Petroleum. Conway enjoyed talking to people and making friends, delivering fresh vegetables, and telling stories. His greatest gift was his kindness and compassion. He truly cared for others with a genuine heart. He married the love of his life, Berdine Steiner, December 12, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Berdine, children, Kim Tingey (Melanie), Kathy Morton (Bruce), Julie Crandall (Alan), Tammi Parish (Ian),13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, sister Shirlene Nelsen and brothers Dale and Calvin Tingey.
He is proceeding in death by his siblings William, Wesley, Ralph, Warren, Franklin, Byron, Virginia Rawlings, Beth Guiver, Emma Burne, and Olive Nilsen.

Viewing in Bountiful at Russon Brothers Funeral Home, September 21, 2012 6:00-8:00 pm. 295 North Main Street. Funeral in Centerville at Centerville Canyon Ward, September 22, 2102, 160 South 300 East, with a viewing prior 9:30-10:30.
Conway will be laid to rest at the Centerville City Cemetery with his family and other loved ones.
