Richard Corey Coons, 44, Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday evening, February 8, 2014 from complications of the flu virus. Corey was born September 30, 1969 to Bonnie Johnson and Perry Stanger in Salt Lake City, Utah. When he was 3 years old his mother remarried David A. Coons and Corey was adopted and raised by him.
