Curt B. Dalrymple

September 21, 1962 — February 19, 2015

Curt B. Dalrymple passed away at age 52 in Centerville, Utah on February 19, 2015 at the Heart and Home assisted living care center from complications of Huntingtons disease (HD). He was born September 21, 1962 in Bountiful Utah to Kathy (Back) Dalrymple and the late Bryon O Dalrymple.
He is survived by daughter Madison Dalrymple, mother Kathy Dalrymple, brothers Chad (Vicki), Steve (Ronda), sisters Sheri (Tim) Bothell, Alice (Jacob) Bothell, Becky, (Kyle) Curb, the late Kari (Greg) Tuttle , and many nieces and nephews. Curt was preceded in death by his father Bryon (1991) and Sister Kari (2013).
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings, his favorite being a scout master. He loved attending the Temple and doing genealogy. He retired from Bountiful City as a fireman and enjoyed being a chef at Utah foods and a Safety and Fire Inspector for Lagoon.
HD is a devastating, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. HD slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, think, talk and reason. HD profoundly affects the lives of entire families.
In the face of this brutal disease, Curt loved life and endured valiantly to the end. His greatest joys were found in spending time with Madison, camping, Dutch oven cooking, teasing his family, scouting, photography, Wood Badge and hiking to Red Castle.
Curt had a special way of making people feel loved and had the ability to teach anyone willing to listen. He will be greatly missed.
