Cutler L Henrie

December 27, 2005 — July 13, 2021

Our sweet Cutler returned to his Heavenly Father and the loving arms of his family who have gone before him early Tuesday morning, July 13, 2021. Cutler was born on December 27, 2005, he was 15 years old. He was a student at Legacy Jr. High where he was spoiled by his teachers in the special education program. Cutler had a seizure disorder that took the best of him and despite his struggles, he was the toughest little warrior! Cutler had a larger-than-life smile that would melt your heart and a special sprit that surrounded him. Effortlessly he could touch hearts, break down barriers, and brighten the day of those he met. Truly, a piece of heaven left our home when Cutler gained his wings.

Cutler brought so many good people into the lives of his family and experiences they will cherish forever. He was a true example of compassion, endurance, and love. He often reminded his parents to slow down and remember what is truly important.  Cutler had a special place in his heart for all animals. His favorite buddy, who was with him the most, was his dog Rusty. He enjoyed music, singing and dancing. His favorite band was “Eclipse 6” and he went to many of their concerts with his family and was even in one of their music videos called “This Is Me”. He was fearless and loved all thrill rides, going to Disneyland and anything Toy Story!

Cutler was mischievous at school and at home, he teased often. It wasn’t uncommon for him to laugh hysterically when he found something funny. He especially liked locking his mom out of her car with him inside with the keys; he would laugh so hard as she would try to figure out how to get the car unlocked again. Cutler loved swimming at his grandparent’s house and his favorite place in the whole world was any place his grandma was. He had a pure innocence about him that never left him with age.

Cutler’s parents made sure he didn’t miss out on opportunities for family vacations and memories to build on. His dad often carried him on his back if his wheelchair just wasn’t an option. One recent vacation his dad carried him through Yellowstone so Cutler could see all the sights with his siblings.  Cutler’s mom worried over him endlessly and strived hard to find the best solutions to his medical needs, schooling & overall care. Cutler’s parents took pride in raising a special child and were very protective over him, they were privileged to have him in their life. Cutler siblings loved him and took a great part in his daily care, entertainment, and joy, they too were protective of him. Cutler spent a lot of time with his siblings and cousins, they truly were his best friends.

Cutlers’ family misses him horribly and is relying on their faith in our Heavenly Father’s Plan of Salvation. They know that one day they will be able to be with Cutler again, and he will run to meet them.

The Henries are forever grateful for the many people who helped raise their incredible boy. Cutler adored his school Teachers and his Peer Students, who were all his heroes! Special thanks to the Mascot Miracles Foundation, Make-A-Wish Utah, Give Kids the World Village, Hope 4 Children with Epilepsy, Special Olympics, Ogden Valley ADAPT Program, DSPD, Shriners & Primary Children’s Hospitals.

Cutler is survived by his parents Natalie and Jason, his siblings Maggie, Mason and Brek. His grandparents Gary and Patty Pepper and his many uncles, aunts, and cousins on both sides of the family who love him dearly. Cutler is preceded in death by his Grandma Susan Kay and Grandpa Marion Lyman Henrie, His Uncle Bret and Aunt Jill Pepper & his cousin Kyler Pepper.
