Dale Vincent Bowles (83) passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2011 at home in Centerville Utah. Born February 7th, 1928 in Lewiston Utah to Vincent and Myrtle Bowles. He grew up in Logan and Salt Lake. Dale graduated from West High, took classes at Utah State, and proudly served his country in the Navy at the end of WWII.
He married Christine Edwards Larson (divorced) and together they had six children. On September 10, 1988, Dale married Kay Ostler, his beautiful wife and sweetheart of 22 years. They were sealed together in the Bountiful Temple, February 28, 1998.
Dale established a career in automobile sales and with his honesty and friendly manner enjoyed wonderful relationships with loyal customers and friends. Dale was an active member of the LDS church and diligently served in many callings. He enjoyed being outdoors golfing and spending time with his family. He was witty, wonderful to be around, and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Kay Bowles, Children, Kimberly (Alan) Clark, Vickey Allen (Gordon), Judy Cooley (Erik), Jennifer Valdez, Lisa Barber (Gary), Kurt Harrison (Wendy), Layne Harrison (Kim), Briant Harrison (Cari), Lance Harrison (Rebecca), – sisters Cleo Plowman (Jerry) and Karren Haslam (Don) and 35 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by two infant sons, Kelly and Dale Jr.
A viewing will be held on Sunday evening March 6th, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday March 7th at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerville 6th Ward chapel, 900 S 400 E, Centerville, where friends may call between 9:45 and 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Estates Cemetery.
