Dale E. Peterson

December 30, 1946 — November 7, 2017

Bountiful – Loving husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother and friend, quietly slipped away at his home.
Dale was born to Della Mae Johnson and Darwin E. Peterson, Dec. 30, 1946 in Logan, Utah. He grew up with 3 sisters. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, baseball, and trips to Yellowstone with his family.  As a young man he loved his '55 Chevy. Attended school in Logan, graduating from Logan High. Attended Utah State University.
Married Linette Frost, July 29, 1965 in Brigham City. Later sealed in the Logan Temple. They were blessed with 3 beautiful children: Danelle, Stacy, and Jeremy.  
Dale enjoyed owning and driving semi trucks, and hauling all types of loads.  He was the Utah Driver of the Month, and Utah Driver of the Year, 2008.  At that time, he had driven 4.8+ million, accident free miles.  He covered 48 states, Canada, and Alaska.  He made good friends wherever he went.  He was a true professional.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Linette; children. Dani & Allen, Stacy & Dell, and Jeremy & Jeni; grandchildren, Zac, Josh & Kasie, Parker, Colby (currently serving an LDS mission in California), Alisha, Jessica & Ryan, Brooke & Blake, Kaden (currently serving an LDS mission in Alabama), Cassidy, Quinn, and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Mia, Carter, and Kaleb; as well as extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Della and Darwin Peterson, sister Judy Eccleston, sister Cheryl Holyoak. We love you Pa!
Viewing Monday Nov. 13, 6-8pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
Funeral service will be Tuesday Nov. 14, at 1:00 pm., with a viewing 11:45am – 12:45pm, at the Bountiful 45th Ward Chapel, 115 Wicker Lane.
