Dale Page Randall, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully while residing at the Heritage Place in Bountiful Utah on Monday June 22, 2009, at the age of 90. Dale was born June 14th, 1919 in Centerville, UT to John Wooley Randall and Hannah Pearl Page. A graduate of Davis High School he served his first mission in the Central States. Following his return, he married Maxine Barber, July 1, 1942, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in various church callings including bishoprics, Sunday School and his favorite, Home Teaching. He had a passion for flying and served in the United Sates Air Force during WWII and the Korean War. He served in the Western European and German campaigns. Decorations include, European, African and Middle Eastern Theatre ribbons, two bronze stars and an Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters. He worked in the produce and trucking industries and for the LDS church and loved dairy cows. He raised 8 children in towns from Long Beach, CA, Centerville & Woods Cross, UT, to Wendell, Buhl and Rupert, ID. He served 4 fulltime missions with his companion Maxine in Capetown, South Africa; Manila, Philippines; Sydney, Australia and Roseville, California. Between missions he served as a sealer in the Salt Lake, Jordan River, and Bountiful LDS temples. Following the passing of his wife Maxine in April, 1995, he married June Field on May 29, 1997. For the past 12 years she has been a comfort, support and traveling companion. Together they have created many memories including attending 9 temple dedications and many trips to Hawaii. Survived by his wife June Field, Centerville; Son Kurt D. Shirlee, Layton; Daughters Tana Thom Crittenden, Oakley; LaRae Bouck, Farmington; Jolene Rod Hoffmann, South Jordan; Sons Eldon Janice, Pleasant Grove; Clark Debbie, South Jordan; Bryce Karin, Livermore, CA; and Ted Wendy Woodstock, GA; 32 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Son-in-law Robert Dana Field, Layton; Daughters-in-Iaw, Terry Millyard, West Bountiful; and Bonnie Randy Adams, St. George. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife and companion, Maxine, infant son, Dean, his parents, his brother Keith and sister Mary Harvey Mann. We will miss his sense of humor, his example and teaching moments as well as his service to the Lord. We know he will continue to serve his Heavenly Father faithfully. Thanks to all who cared for him at Heritage Place and for Drs Jensen, Thompson and Klein, the nurses and aides at Lakeview Hospital and the tender care of Vista Care. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 27, 2009 at 1pm in the Centerville 7th Ward chapel located at, 270 N. 300 E. Centerville, UT. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 N. Main Bountiful, UT Friday June 26 from 6-8pm and on Saturday June 27th at the chapel from 11:45-12:45. Interment will be at the Centerville Cemetery.
