Dale Robert McCarthy

Dale Robert McCarthy was born on March 8, 1942 in Cardston Alberta Canada to Joseph S. McCarthy and Mary Jane Porteous. He returned to his loving Heavenly Father on May 10, 2016. Dale lived most of his life in Davis County. He graduated in 1960 from Bountiful High School. He was in the military from 1960 to 1962.

Dale married his sweetheart Kayleen Day on September 28, 1962 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of the South Davis Fire Department and Ambulance Service from 1963 to 1980. Dale worked for Milne Truck Lines for 21 years. He also worked for C.H. Dredge and Swift Transportation. He loved camping, fishing and calligraphy.

Dale and Kayleen are blessed with three wonderful children. A daughter Robyn (Rick) Shaw, two sons Robert McCarthy and Michael (Alli) McCarthy. He was a Grandpa to six Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. He loved them and loved to tease them. He will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington. Graveside Services will be Monday, May 16 at 12:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Estates, 1640 E. Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, UT.
