Dallin Joseph Shepherd, cherished son of Douglas and Jennifer Shepherd of Farmington, Utah, was born on April 12, 1996 and passed away on January 1st, 2015. He was 18. Dallin was an honors graduate of Davis High School (2014) and was currently enrolled, on scholarship, at the University of Utah where he was planning to major in engineering and participated in a variety of extra curricular activities. Throughout his life, Dallin loved trying new things and excelled at whatever he put his heart into. He was an accomplished violinist, an Eagle Scout, a certified lifeguard, a black belt in karate, an exceptional student, an avid reader and gamer, and a devoted friend. He also enjoyed skiing, rock climbing, scuba diving and anything new that seemed interesting or exciting. Dallin desired to make a positive difference in the world and has done so by being an organ donor, which will save and/or enhance the lives of many recipients.
Dallin was preceded in death by his grandparents Farrell and Lois Shepherd and grandmother Barbara Call. He is survived by his parents and brothers, Parker Shepherd (SLC) and Tate Shepherd (Farmington), as well as his grandparents Vern and Mayumi Call, and many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Graveside services for family members and close friends of Dallins will be held Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 p.m. at the Farmington City Cemetery arranged for by Russon Brothers Mortuary, Farmington, Utah.
