Dan Lewis Richardson, resident of Bountiful, UT, left this mortal existence Sunday, November 28, 2021.
He was born in Phoenix, AZ on October 11, 1957, to John Thornton Richardson and Mary Lynn Davies Richardson. His childhood was spent in California before moving to Utah.
From an early age, Dan was intrigued with electronics. He had the uncanny knack of “figuring it out” when presented with a perplexing situation. He earned the respect of others in his field with his determination and results. His loyalty was boundless; to his family, his friends, his employment. A mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was served in New Zealand. An instant and life-long love was forged for the people and the area.
In 1980, he was united in marriage to Karen Facer (1959-1989). Two beautiful children joined them. They later divorced. He married Barbara Lucas in 1985 and two more beautiful children completed the family.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; children: Jessica, Christian, Michael, and Matthew; siblings Venla Gubler (Craig Harris), Mark (Carol) Richardson, Tova (Jae) Somerville, Scott (Becki) Richardson, Valene (Kevin) Walley, and Brett (Janice) Richardson, with many wonderful nieces and nephews and their families.
Dan’s time was too short here, yet his love and devotion for others is endless. Thank you for your influence in his life.
