Daniel was born May 24, 1920 in Coraopolis, PA. He served honorably in the US Navy during World War II as a machinist mate and was three days out of Pearl Harbor when the island was attacked in 1941. Dan met and married Cecilia Huffaker in San Francisco and then moved to Utah where he lived for the next forty years. He finally moved to southern California 1985 where he spent the remaining years of his life as a happy-go-lucky person who loved golfing, bowling, movies, and working out at the gym.
Dan died suddenly after a major stroke in the morning of the 27th, but he had led a happy and healthy life for eighty-eight years. He is survived by three daughters, Susan Jerrome, Sandi Barrett, and Stacey Thatcher; two sons, Daniel S. Jerrome and Mark Jerrome; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
