Daniel Matthew Hansen

Our dear son, Daniel Matthew Hansen, passed away Monday the sixth day of  November 2017.  Dan was born September 22, 1972 in Murray, Utah.  He is survived by his parents, Cal Hansen and Meledie Gregory. Siblings include, Cody, Ashley, Carrie, Wade Hansen, Spencer Gregory, and Francis Cardy, Jr.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Adams Gregory, grandparents, Kenneth L. and Genevieve Duncan, and Leah and Rulon L. Hansen.

He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and Eagle Scout, and as a young Man, enjoyed competing in 4-H horsemanship competitions.  Dan was an avid fan of the University of Utah football program.  He was employed for a number of years as a logistic controller for SS Marine of Draper, Utah. 

Dan loved his dogs, adored his nieces, and friends. Dan loved fitness and spent many hours at the gym.  With Dan’s big heart he would help anyone in need.  We are so proud of you Dan, we will love and miss you always…

Dan will be honored in a service to be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Friends and family may call at the mortuary, Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, or prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45 am on Monday morning.
