Daniel Richard Frederiksen

Dan was born February 14, 1965 in Bountiful, UT to Richard H. and Vicki Lynn Frederiksen.  He married Joy Davis on August 8, 1984. They were later divorced. He then married Rachel Lee Foster on February 3, 1985 in Provo, UT and was later sealed to her in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, UT.  Our husband, father and son passed away unexpectedly in his home in West Valley.  Dan graduated from Woods Cross High School and received his Master's Degree in business. He is survived by his parents, Richard H. and Vicki Lynn; his wife, Rachel; children, Rusty, Jody, and Samantha; step children, David Gordon and Melissa Shelby Bouche; siblings Kelly, Shane, Matthew, and Tiffany.
Dan was known to be reliable, funny, and strong.  He was a quiet but steady source of strength for all that knew and loved him.  He will be missed.
He loved being in the mountains, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 12 at the LDS Chapel 4195 South 6000 West, West Valley City.  Friends and family may visit Sunday, March 11 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, or Monday morning 9:30-10:30 at the church prior to services.
