Daniel Stevens

Daniel Mack Stevens born October 13, 1931, in Fillmore, Utah, passed away on December 14, 2014. Dan was the son of Daniel Ward Stevens and Ila Pearl Callister. Dan served honorably in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955, during the Korean War. He continued his expertise he learned in the military as a civilian air traffic controller as his career. Dan married Janeth Norma Wilson on May 13, 1954, in Logan, Utah. Dan and Janeth are the proud parents of three daughters: Norma Lori Daniels (Dallan) – Kaysville, Lynda (George) Pales – Henderson, Nevada, and Teresa (Scott) Nies – Henderson, Nevada. Dan and Janeth have been married for 60 wonderful years.

Dan was a gifted artist who has painted a multitude of masterful oil and watercolor paintings the entire family has enjoyed and will continue to enjoy for years. He also enjoyed making beautiful ceramic pottery, woodworking, gardening, rock work, and pie and candy making (his toffee was a piece of heaven!).

Dan is survived by his wife, children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary 1941 North Main, Farmington, on Friday, December 19. The viewing will begin at noon with the funeral services beginning at 1:00.
