With humble hearts we say goodbye to our loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend. Dan passed away peacefully in his sleep on New Years Eve. He is survived by his wife Michelle and daughters, Haley and Paige; his step daughters, Ashley and Josie; his father, Clark Teasdale (Carolyn); his mother, Lois “Jen” Richardson; his brother Andrew “Buck” Teasdale (Elaine); his sisters Bonnie Moon (Nathan) and Rebekah Smith and last but not least, his many, many good friends and extended family.
Dan attended both Davis High and Viewmont High School after which he received his nursing degree. This career choice lead to his spending many years caring for people in hospital emergency rooms and as a traveling nurse. Dan also had many professions which included sheriff’s deputy, fireman, flight paramedic, and flight nurse but his true passion was being an entrepreneur and starting new businesses. In addition, he was a master in the world of technology and as newer items appeared on the market, he loved the challenge of integrating them into his vast field of knowledge.
Dan believed in living life to the fullest and was happiest when he was sailing as Captain Yamboy with his family and friends. As an additional bonus, he added his pilot’s license to enhance his adventurous endeavors. He loved being in the outdoors, especially the desert, where he was either shooting his guns or hiking. His favorite peaceful retreats were Grand Gulch and Grouse Creek.
He was an adventurous free spirit who believed you should live life by following your bliss and he wanted everyone who touched his heart to share his dreams and aspirations. While always maintaining a positive outlook on life, particularly the future. He generously touched the hearts and lives of everyone who knew him well.
Dan, we love and miss you and are grateful for the 43 years of joy and adventure you shared so generously with us all. Until we meet again, sail on, Dear Friend.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, at 2 PM at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, Ut. Friends and loved ones are welcome to come at 1PM to visit with the family. Dan will be pleased to have you there sharing the celebration of his life and his new adventure.
