Darrell Speirs

Biography

Our beloved Darrell James Speirs passed away February 5, 2013 due to an unexpected heart attack. Born November 26, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William A. Speirs and Leah Simpson (both deceased).
Darrell is survived and loved by mother, Fawn Rae Rasmussen; brothers, Ronald, Steven and Kenneth; and sister, Annette; many cousins and relatives very close to his heart.
Our brother had a heart the size of Texas. He would go out of his way to help anyone who needed him. He especially loved all animals and couldn’t stand any mistreatment.
He attended East High School. He took pride in everything he did. He drove truck for 30 years without an accident. He enjoyed his recent job at Shamrock Plumbing and his close relationship with his cousins, Kevin, Bryon, and Kathy Flannery, who have shared so much.
Darrell is missed and loved by everyone who knew him.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Farmington City Cemetery, 200 East 500 South. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main prior to services.
