David Wayne Hudson

David Wayne Hudson of West Valley City, UT passed away in his sleep on December 27, 2010. David was born at Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany on June 23, 1962 to Robert Lawrence Hudson Sr. and Elaine Holbrook Hudson. He was able to travel with his parents because of his fathers military duties to Portland, Or; Tacoma, WA; RAF Wethersfield, England; George AFB, CA; Great Falls, MT; and finally to Bountiful, UT. He graduated from Viewmont High School, served an honorable mission to the San Diego California Mission. He also earned his Eagle Scout Award through the South Davis Special Needs Mutual. He had worked as a custodian at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful and also worked at SLC Intnl Airport, UT as a custodian and personnel cart driver. He was able to realize his dream of being an OTR truck driver. He passed the truck driver course and went to work for Dick Simon Trucking. David was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Elaine. He is survived by his father, Robert Sr. (Linda), his older brother Robert Jr. (Theresa), and sister Gail (Mark), three nieces and one nephew. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful. Friends may call Monday prior to the Graveside services from 12:30-1:30 pm, at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful.
