David Elliott Nebeker passed away Sunday evening at the Care Source Hospice Center. As a family, we thank those kind people who were so compassionate and capable in meeting his needs during the last days of his life. We also express gratitude to a great neighbor and friend of Davids, Lynn Nelson.
David was born on the 23rd of June 1938. He spent his early childhood on the east side of Bear Lake, four years in Logan, ten years in Paris, France, and the remainder of his life in the Salt Lake Valley.
He had an amazing mind, which he put to good use at Evans and Sutherland. While there, he invented and perfected several technical devices. He taught math and physics at the University of Paris during his ten years there. David had a great love for and appreciation of ballet and classical music.
He was loved and respected by those who had the blessing of being close to him. He will be missed; he was a unique person. David had a strong testimony of the eternity of life and a happy reunion with loved ones on the other side.
David is survived by a brother, Sidney Jay Nebeker, a sister, Mary Nebeker Winters and many fine nieces and nephews. We already miss him very much.
A graveside service will be held at Wasatch Lawn on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. (Highland Drive and 33rd So.) We wish to express our appreciation to Russon Brothers Mortuary and in particular Gary and WenDee. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
