David Stevens

Biography

David Michael Stevens, age 55, died peacefully in his sleep on November 21, 2011 at his parents home from complications of emphysema. He passed through the veil, to be greeted by many who love him. David was born on April 8, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to David M. Stevens and Cherie Woodbury Stevens. He proudly worked for many years on the railroad and was recently employed at Sun Products, Inc. He was loved by all who knew him because of his great love and compassion for others. He was always optimistic and enthusiastic. Even through his recent illness and pain, he never lost his wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Cayli; his parents, Gary and Cherie Hyde and David M. and Jane Stevens; his siblings, Michelle Zwick (Jeff), Shauna Maxwell (Arthur), Matthew Stevens (Ann), Christie Barnes, Rebecca Skordas (Greg) and Lisa Wallace (Brian); and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Centerville First Ward Chapel, 160 S. 300 E., Centerville, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:45 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at Kaysville Cemetery, Kaysville, Utah.
