David Vernon Chesley, of Kaysville, Utah passed away on September 6, 2019. He was born on August 25, 1951, to Vernon Clark Chesley and Eleanor Chesley in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated as Valedictorian from West High School and attended the University of Utah.
David served in the Gulf States Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked for 32 years at First Security Bank / Wells Fargo. David went on to work for the Davis School District in the Learning Centers at various high schools and junior highs for 12 years.
David married Judy Sharon Saunders on January 12, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple. They adopted five children and have six grandchildren.
David loved to play the piano, cook, travel, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife Judy, his children: Erin (Andrew) Sherlock, Jenny (Shawn) Jackson, Robert (Amy) Chesley, and Adri-Anne “Lee” Chesley, six grandchildren; Josh, Luke, Corbin, Sophia, Rhyan, and Quinn Li. A viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary from 6:00 – 8:00 on Friday, the 13th of September and at the Gardens Chapel, 9th W 550 S, Kaysville, UT on the 14th from 10:00 – 10:45 prior to the services at Gardens Chapel which will be at 11:00.
Burial will be in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
