Dawn Marie Holley, our beloved daughter, sister, Aunt was called home to our Heavenly Father, on 28 July 2022.  Marie was born March 27,1963 to Henry Carl Holley (Sherry) and Dawn Clark Proctor (Forrest) in Ogden, Utah.

Marie is survived by her father Henry Carl Holley, and Mother Dawn Clark Proctor, her four brothers Craig Holley (Brenda), Chad Holley (Kristi), Todd Velis (Joni), and Brad Holley, and her sister, Sandee (Bruce) Marchant.  Nephews Jon Holley (Racheal), Jared Holley (Carmen), Tate Marchant (Haley), and Craig Velis.   Nieces, Holley George (Logan), Jayde Clark, and Katie Velis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wendie Lynn Holley. Marie always saw the best in everyone, and always strived to help them.

She was very passionate about health, nutrition and the human body.  This made her commitment to the nursing field a perfect fit.  Marie loved the color purple and will always be remembered for her signature purple lipstick.  Marie always wanted to be a mother, as a result of not being able to have children she was an amazing Aunt, and created a multitude of memories with her nephews and nieces. They loved her very much.  She had a tender heart and was very caring to all of her patients during her career as a nurse in Hospitals, hospice care and assisted living homes.  She was an extremely hard-working nurse, and all who met her loved her instantly. She was a kind, generous, bighearted woman who never met a stranger.  She was full of love and kindness.  She loved her family very much and was always there to support them whenever they needed her.  She had a strong love for all animals, and all of God’s creatures. Although her life was cut short, she will always be in our hearts until we meet again.

Graveside services for Marie will be held privately with the family.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ncadv.org).
