Our beloved mother Deanna Rae Seager Lindsey was greeted by many beloved family members as she passed away from this life.
She was a valiant daughter of a loving Heavenly Father whom she served throughout her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served on the compassion service committee for many years. She was a helping hand for any who needed service. She went about her life in quite dignity without fanfare. She valued her privacy and was content to stand behind the scenes.
She was friend to all and never missed an opportunity to point out the beauty of others whether she knew you or not. She made others feel good about themselves.
She valued family and family relationships. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Many sleepless nights were spent worrying about each of them in their various activities and trials. She wanted to take away any sorrow from them and was their biggest cheerleader in their triumphs. They could do no wrong.
She was raised in humble surroundings and valued the little things in life. Orphaned at the age of 12, she struggled to just survive. She later raised a younger sister and 4 children at a very young age herself. She adored her mother Virginia Mae Buchanan who passed at a young age of cancer. Her father Lloyd Harry Reid Seager passed away under suspicious circumstances when she was very young.
She is survived by 3 of 6 siblings. Richard Grant, Peggy Arredondo, Rosalind Wahlberg. Arlene Bramble and Leon Buchanan preceeded her in death.
She married Constantine Leonard who later divorced, and Kent M Lindsey both deceased.
She worked hard her entire life to provide for her children. Debbie (Scott) Workman, Bret Lindsey (deceased), Ric Leonard, Jeff (Peggy) Lindsey, Sherri Leonard, Sandy (Tom) Walker, Dan (Jeralee) Leonard.
She is survived by 22 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of red lipstick kisses, big hugs, animal print attire, big earrings and a kind heart to all who knew her.
