Deborah Elaine Larrabee Parrish, aged 49, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 3rd 2018. She was born March 2nd, 1969 in Salt Lake City Utah to Jerold and Lois Larrabee. She graduated from Woods Cross high in 1987 and went on to graduate from Salt Lake Community College, School of Nursing in 1996. She married Shane Parrish on August 28, 1993. Their son Nicholas was born on January 30, 1999.
Debbie began as a CNA at Health South Rehabilitation Center, then transitioned in to working as a registered nurse in Emergency Medicine at Pioneer Valley Hospital and the Neonatal ICU at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Debbie served two volunteer missions with Operation Smile in China and volunteered at many diabetic camps helping kids. Debbie’s amazing character and courage changed countless lives all over the globe for the better.
Nothing was ever more important to her than Nicholas and Shane. Fighting a relentless disease never robbed her of a belief that this is a life worth living. Traveling to four continents, 8 snowboard resorts, 12 countries, 26 States, the Utah Big five and Disneyland 21 times with her family, made a life overflowing with memories, experiences, and pictures. We are all better people for knowing her and are a little more reflective on the lives we shared. Debbie we miss you so much!
She is survived by her husband, Shane; Her son Nicholas; her brothers Daniel, Robert, and sisters Tami , Traci, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Proceed in death by brother Randall, and her Grandparents Solomon and Larrabee.
Family, friends and others whose lives Debbie touched are invited to attend funeral services for Debbie on Saturday, July 7th 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services.
