Debra B DeJuncker

September 2, 1950 — January 15, 2024

Debra "Debbie" B. DeJuncker, age 73, passed away peacefully on January 15th surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 2, 1950, in Richfield, UT, Debbie was a beacon of joy and kindness in the lives of those who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Ronald “Ron” DeJuncker, her high school sweetheart. They were married on September 3, 1971, in the St. George Utah Temple, marking the beginning of an enduring partnership. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Jayson, Devin, Jeffrey (Janica), and Jordan (Kari); her adored daughters-in-law, Janica and Kari; and her cherished grandchildren, Izaya, Daniel, Peyton, Jannalynn, Jack, Luke, and Kaidan. She is also survived by her brothers Todd Brown and Mitchell Brown.

A graduate of Rancho High School in Las Vegas, NV, in 1968, and a student at Dixie College, she spent years of service to the Boise School District as a secretary at Riverside Elementary. Later in life, her passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling role in physical therapy, where she assisted older individuals in rehabilitation.

Debbie's life was a tapestry of creativity, faith, and love for music. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, tole painting, and especially decorating for the holidays. A passionate music lover, Debbie attended numerous concerts, seeing many legends over the years including the Beatles, Elvis, the Eagles, John Denver, Elton John, Donny and Marie Osmond, and Neil Diamond. Her joy for travel led her to collect sand from every warm beach she visited, which she lovingly displayed in her beach room.

An active member of the LDS church, she embraced the gospel wholeheartedly, serving in various roles from Relief Society to Young Women's and Primary. Debbie's reserved yet vibrant personality, her beautiful blue eyes, one-of-a-kind gray hair, and infectious smile lit up every room. Known for her sweet nature and good sense of humor, she loved her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren deeply.
