Dell "Bonnie" Yvonne Stockwell

Born May 17, 1936 in St. Charles, ID to C. Dale and Audrian (Audrey) Brewer Ellsworth.

She was raised in the Ogden area and graduated from Weber High School.  After graduation she went to Seattle, Washington where she earned a dental assistant certificate and where she met and married Darrell Keith Stockwell on Oct. 31, 1955.  They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He died in 2012.  She missed him these past 7 years.

They lived in many places in their married life.  She had many friends in Pleasant View, North Ogden, Roy, St. George and for the last 7 years in Payson, Utah.

She told many stories of her cousins in her growing up years, they always held a special place in her heart.  Family was so important to mom.

Mom worked and retired from HAFB, where she really enjoyed initialing documents with her initials BS!  She worked several other places as well, and made a difference in many lives.

She worked along with her parents, brothers, and children at the D & A Market in Pleasant View, Utah for many, many wonderful years.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served in many callings in the church.  Her last and probably favorite was the “Birthday” Specialist” where she called every person in her ward from the oldest to the youngest to wish them Happy Birthday.

She had a beautiful Alto voice and she loved singing.  She played the piano and she shared her gifts whenever asked.  She also enjoyed crochet and made many afghans for her loved ones.

She was a good cook, an excellent seamstress, fierce competitor in cards and games.  They owned a motor home and enjoyed camping, and visiting with her loved ones in Utah, Idaho and West Virginia.

She is survived by her children Debi (Doyle) Waters, So. Weber, Keith (Tami) Stockwell, Roy, Cary (Casandra) Stockwell, Payson, Nancy (Jeff) Chugg, Duchesne.    Mom has 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.  Brothers Ronald (Margorie) Ellsworth and Paul (Karla) Ellsworth, sister-in-law Pam Ellsworth (Kent). Brothers-in-law, Harrell (Ken) Charlotte Stockwell, Jarrell (Carol) Stockwell.  Many Nieces and nephews.

She’d want to give special thanks to Cary, Cassie and family for the wonderful care they gave her for the past 7 years.  Thank you, Breanna, Taylor, Aiden, Desi, Garrett, Kenneth and Jessica V for being there for her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Kent, and some dear nephews.  The family also thanks Wendy Pope for taking such special care of her and those at Parkway Health and Rehab and Aspen Ridge Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Mountain View LDS church located at 2620 E. 8200 S.,  South Weber, Utah.  A viewing will be held that morning before the funeral service from 9 am to 10:30 am.  Interment at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Utah.
