Today, it is with sad hearts that we bid our wonderful and kind mother, grandmother and aunt, Della Bradshaw, a momentary farewell. Yet our sorrows are softened as we are eloquently mindful of the blissful reunion she now enjoys with those she has missed for so many years. Preceded in death by daughters Susan Bennion Allinson and Shauna Bennion Irwin, husbands Marshall Leslie Bennion and Newell K. Bradshaw, parents Robert Glen Egbert and Mary Maude Bateman, grandson Cory Blake Sovereen, and siblings Tubby , Marge, Ann and Hal . However, she will be deeply missed by her sons and their families David (Susan), Robert (Debbie) and Brent Bennion, as well as Randy Bradshaw (Sandra) and his family, sister Barbara and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
Della was born in Magna, Utah, but spent many years building fond memories in Park City, Utah. She met and married Mashall Bennion in 1945; who preceded her in death leaving her with five young children to raise on her own. But fortunately she soon met and married Newell Bradshaw in 1958 , who, along with his son Randy, made her family whole again. From day one, Della’s greatest delight and joy has always been spending time with her family. Yet, holding a close second in her heart were the many thoroughbred race horses that she and Newell spent their later years together caring for, training and racing at various race tracks across the western United States. We love you, Della and are so sad to see you leave us for the greater joy and the rewards you have earned with a life well lived.
