Dolores June Yearicks had a joyful reunion on the other side of the veil on Dec. 24, 2015, when she rejoined family members, including her first husband, Thomas Keith Cooper, and two of her children, Katherine June and Stephen. She died at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Also preceding her were her father, Jack A. Raines, her mother Rozeanna Raines, brother, Kenneth Oliver Raines, and sister Ermagene Raines,
She is survived by her husband David Yearicks, her sister Myrnagene of Pierce City, Missouri, her son, Keith Alan Cooper, and daughters Sherry Renae Pacheco of Magalia, California, and Tammarah Annette Price of Farmington, Utah.
June was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Missouri, where she lived for three years before spending most of her life in and near Stockton, California. She made her first dress at age 6 and dreamed of being a fashion designer. She made all her children's clothing, including coats, as they were growing up and was an amazing artist who loved to paint. She loved playing board games, spending time with children, gardening and flowers.
A Franklin High School graduate, she studied accounting at Humphries College in Stockton and was later trained as a psychiatric technician nurse and worked as a nurse at Napa State Hospital until she retired. She married David in November 14, 1984, and lived in Napa and Riverside before moving to Utah in 2004.
Despite a life characterized by illness and other hardships, June had incredible faith and optimism and knew she would return to her Heavenly Father.
The viewing is at 1:15 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2016, at Eagle Shore LDS Chapel, 549 S. 1525 W., Farmington, Utah, followed by her funeral at 2 p.m. in the same location. Interment is at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Camp Williams Cemetery.
