Delpha Meyers

Provo- Delpha Alene Meyers, 79, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011. Delpha was born one of 10 children to Howard and Ruby Freeman in Joplin, Missouri. Delpha spent her childhood in Missouri, Kansas and Oregon. She has always been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, holding many leadership and service positions. Delpha joins her mother, father, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, her son and a granddaughter who have preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 62 years and 6 loving children and their spouses as well as 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26th at 12:00 AM at the Lakeview 4th Ward Building, 102 North 2400 West, Provo, Utah. The viewing will be just prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Immediate and extended family will gather Monday, April 25, at 7:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, UT. Flowers may be sent to the mortuary, or donations may be made to the LDS Church Missionary Department in lieu of flowers. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery.
