Denise Hansen

Denise M. Hansen passed away peacefully Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born in the small town of Dayton, Idaho on September 13, 1928 to Ruth and Kenneth Mendenhall. She has lived in Bountiful for 33 years.
She worked hard her whole life taking care of her home and family, even through all the trials due to her visual handicap.
She loved to do compassionate service for others. She was a good friend and neighbor. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a good joke to tell. She loved her family dearly and was always there to provide them with comfort and support.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hansen, to whom she was married to for 60 years.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Nada) and Boyd (Tami); daughters, Janet (Houston) and Janiel; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woods Cross 3rd Ward Chapel, 1450 South 350 West, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.
Graveside services will be at the Weston City Cemetery, Weston, Idaho at 3:00 p.m.
