1948-2014
Heaven received a perfect angel on July 18, 2014. Dennis was born on September 13, 1948 in Salt Lake City Utah to Clifford and Helen Andersen. Dennis passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Dennis married the love of his life Alberta on April 21, 1980. Two souls became one that day and were inseparable for over 34 years. One of his first jobs was working at the M&A Mill with his father and uncle. Dennis joined the Salt Lake City Police Dept. in 1970 and in 1978 became part of the Salt Lake City International Airport Authority. He was promoted to Airfield Operations Manager in 1999, he devoted 36 years to a job he loved. Dennis was most happy when he was camping and fishing at his property with family.
He is survived by his loving wife Alberta, his children, Stacey (Dan); Carolyn (Mike); Tonya (Jake); Shean (Launee); Denny; two sisters, Sharon; Linda (Ken) and one brother; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main Street Farmington, UT.
