Dennis Martin Lunt

Dennis is the son of Martin Harris Lunt and Addie LaRue Nelson Lunt.  He was the husband of Phyllis Olsen.  They were married for many years.  He is the younger brother of Addie LaRaine ODonnell and Kathleen Mae Isom.

He was born in New Brunswick, NJ.  He lived in NJ until he went to college at Brigham Young University, in Provo Utah.  He graduated college and went on a fulltime mission to California, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was a very faithful church member and attended the temple weekly.  He loved the scriptures and he and Phyllis read and studied daily.  As an adult he lived and loved Bountiful, Utah.  He retired from the State of Utah.  He worked for many years as a school crossing guard.  This was an especially happy time for him helping the children cross the street safely.  He loved the little children.

Dennis was a faithful care giver to his parents in their older years and to his beloved wife Phyllis.  Dennis lived and wanted to be a good friend to others.  He lived very close to the promptings of his Heavenly Father.  Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his older sisters LaRaine (John), Kathleen (Richard), nieces and nephews, Julie Sandlin, Kimberly Kunde, (Chris), Monica Parkinson (Brad), Joel Olsen, Heather Dutton.

Grave Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
