Bountiful, Utah — Our much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew
and cousin passed away on December 18, 2016. Devyn was born on
March 3, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents, Kelli Anderson Young
and Stefan Young.
Devyn grew up, attending school in Salt Lake and Davis County,
graduating a year early (2010) from the Davis School district. Devyn's
interests were anything and everything that included his family and
friends.
Devyn leaves behind many family members who will miss him dearly; Parents, Kelli and Stefan,
brother and best friend forever, Garrett Young, Grandparents; Arlynn & Catherine Anderson,
Randy & Cheryl Young, Jane & Greg Jacobson. Aunts & Uncles; Tara Hood (Garth), Andrea
Anderson McAfee, Scott Anderson, Shelby Young Larsen (Matt), Nick Young (Makayla).
Cousins; Taylor, Kylie, & Megan Hood; Chase, Daniel, Brandon, Ariyana, & Tatiana McAfee;
Hunter & Shannon Anderson, and Austin Larsen.
Besides his many cousins, Devyn was also blessed with many friends, who really were his band
of brothers. He loved and desperately missed his life-long friend, Mitch, who preceded him to
heaven by six months. We know Devyn and Mitch had a glorious reunion, and are together
again, resting peacefully not far apart.
Devyn's memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28th at Russon Brothers
Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may visit Tuesday evening,
6-8 p.m. and Wednesday morning before services from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Interment will follow
at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
Devyn's memory will always live on by his choice to be an organ donor. Consider honoring his
memory by also making that choice to register as an organ donor or to the Bone Marrow
Transplant Registry.
