Deward Davis 1917-2009

WOODS CROSS-Deward Davis 92 passed away Oct. 28, 2009. He was born May 1, 1917 in Afton, WY to Daniel Clifford Davis and Gladys Fern Cazier. He married Betty Allee Sarbach Aug. 22, 1940. They were sealed in the SL Temple June 28, 1967. Deward spent his life working in construction building temples, churches and other beautiful buildings throughout the world. He loved spending time at his cabin in the Uinta Mountains and hunting and fishing with his family. He was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by his children John Troy Davis, Gaylord Thelma Davis, Glade Davis, Gladys Davis, Karen Jim Banks, Gerry Davis, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his sweet wife Betty and son Terry, 1 grandson, and 2 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank his angels at North Canyon Care Center and Vista Hospice for taking such wonderful care of him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 11:00a.m. at the Woods Cross 10th Ward, 1335 West, 1500 South. Friends and family may call Monday night, Nov. 2 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and 9:45-10:45a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
