Diane Hayes Roberts

March 28, 1949 — December 31, 2015

Diane Hayes Roberts, of Kaysville, Utah, passed away December 31, 2015 from complications of breast cancer.  Diane was born on March 28, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She is the daughter of Delmont Hayes and Ethel Karin Mineer.  She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Reese James Roberts, their children:  Ryan J. (Stacy) Roberts of Kaysville, Tiffany (Rod) Willyerd of Farmington, Brandon Roberts of Kaysville, Sally Ann (Chris) Weaver of Missouri City, Texas, and Kimberly Roberts of Kaysville.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and two brothers:  Wally Hayes and Michael Hayes, both of Kaysville.

Diane was a woman of great faith.  Her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ was firm and unwavering.  She loved her Savior, and knew of His love for her.  Her greatest joys in life were her family, her many dear friends, and all the young women she had the privilege to serve. She served in the Young Women Organization for over 16 years in almost every capacity, and loved every minute. She brought joy, compassion and laughter to all she met.  Her children and grandchildren will savor the memories of all the fun, crazy things she would do.  We will remember her smile and her hearty laugh.  Any who ever received a “Diane Hug”, were affected forever.  She hugged with her whole soul, and showed her unconditional love and acceptance for all.

For those who wish to pay their respects, there will be a viewing held Monday, January 4, 2016 from 5:00-8:00pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main St, Farmington, Utah.  The family will then have a small graveside service Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
