Dixie Lou Curtis quietly passed away at McKay-Dee Hospital at 7:02 pm October 30 in the presence of her family. Weakened by age, she could not recover from injuries sustained in a car accident the preceding Wednesday. At 84, Dixie lived a full life and had already worn out her mortal body in service to her spouse, 6 children, 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Besides being a homemaker, she served as a telephone operator, real estate agent and Bountiful Temple worker. She is loved by all in the Farmington Utah community she made her home, but she will especially be missed by all the neighborhood kids who would come by regularly to talk and get cookies.
Though she will be sorely missed in this life, we trust and are sure that she is safe in the arms her Savior whom she loved and served and is preparing the way for us there as she did here.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, Nov 4, at the Farmington Rock Chapel on 272 West Main. Family and close friends may attend a viewing in the Relief Society Room from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment- Farmington City Cemetery.
