On Tuesday January 19th, 2021 our dear friend Donald Alvin Hoffman passed away due to complications from Covid. Donald was born on April 27th, 1932 to Max and Millie Hoffman.
Donald’s parents passed away when he was only 2 years old. Donald went to live with his aunt and uncle .Donald’s uncle was a painter and he worked with his uncle from the time he was a young boy. Donald worked for Deseret Industries for 20 years then worked for Sconecutter for 6 years before he retired
In the 1980’s Donald moved into a group home with TURN community services. He lived in homes and received services from TURN until his health declined and he moved into Avalon Care Center in Bountiful in January of 2019.
Donald loved the Utah Jazz. He was a season ticket holder for many years. He enjoyed coloring and would spend hours coloring in his books. Donald loved to send and receive letters.
Donald touched the lives of many who knew him. He will be greatly missed
Donald was preceded in death by his father Max Hoffman and his mother Millie Hoffman
Graveside services will be held at Bountiful Cemetery Monday January 25th at 2:00 pm
