Donald E. Iund

Donald Iund passed away peacefully at his home in Utah, March 5, 2016, at the age of 91.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarine, and is survived by 5 children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

    Donald honorably served in the U.S. Army, General Headquarters American Forces Pacific under General McArthur from 1943-1945. For many years, he worked for the Southern California Gas Co., retiring in 1989. At one time, he taught heating and air conditioning at San Jacinto Jr. College. After his retirement, he owned a small manufacturing business in North Salt Lake, which he enjoyed very much.   

      Donald held many positions in his Church throughout his adult life and always served willingly and admirably. Donald and his wife, Clarine, shared a great love of music and had been members of the Utah Jay Welch Chorale and the Legacy Chorale.

    Funeral services will be held at LDS Orchard 8th Ward, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake, Utah, on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., where visitation with friends and family will be held from 12:00-12:45 p.m. prior to services.
