Donald James Forbes ?Together Again?

Donald James Forbes, age 89, passed away September 22, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born June 6, 1915 in Layton, Utah to William John and Ethel Webster Forbes. He married Ruth Hepworth Forbes on April 3, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 8, 1957.

Donald was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. He graduated from Davis High School.

He is survived by his children: Rodney D. Patricia Forbes; Maureen Taylor; Gordon L. Myrna Forbes; LaRae John Anderson; Norman J. Susan Forbes; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Knox and Violet Amundsen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, 2004 at 11:00 am in the 26th Ward Riverview Chapel, 500 South 1145 West. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 E., SLC and Monday at the Ward from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
