Donald George Kreutzer passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the age of 87.He was born on June 20, 1920 in Salt Lake City, UT to George and Greta Marie Lousie Huwe Kreutzer. He married Clara Beth Stoddart on August 12, 1941 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Donald was always very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings but the one he loved the most was Temple Worker in the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples. He was a man of great faith and was an excellent example. He worked all of his life at Intermountain Furniture and was a talented upholsterer. He was a hard worker and taught all of his children and grandchildren a strong work ethic. Some of his favorite pastimes were genealogy, walking, golf, airport taxi, and checking gas prices. He was devoted to his family, always reminding them to remember who they were. Donald is survived by his wife, Clara, sisters Dorothy Vranes, and Marillyn Stan Nelson; children Dennis Sally Kreutzer Chicago, IL, Jane Richard Hall Riverdale, UT, David J. Asay, Farmington, UT; Richard Kathy Kreutzer, Sandy, UT; 15 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, JoAnne Asay; sisters Ruth Coleman and Carollyn Carlson, and a great granddaughter Kathryn Hall. Friends may call Sunday evening, December 30, from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary 295 North Main, Bountiful, UT. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the LDS 26th Ward Chapel, 200 North 200 West in Bountiful, UT, where friends and family may call from 11:45am to 12:45pm prior to the service.
