Donald Grant Paget, age 85, born October 15, 1929 to Roy and Anna Marie Kiepe Paget, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2014. He graduated from East High School then worked at Sugar House Bakery until he was called on an LDS mission to New Zealand. He spent two years as a soldier in the U.S. Army serving 17 months in Korea. Donald, an active member of the LDS church, served in various church callings including volunteering in the Salt Lake Temple for 14 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and their wives; Ralph Roy and June Paget, George William and Vera Paget. He is survived by his brothers and their wives; Fred, Alan and Ramona, Loyd and Marie, and his sister Marie Kern.
A viewing will be held December 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street Bountiful Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Porter Lane 3rd Ward chapel located at 436 West Porter Lane. A viewing will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 am prior to the funeral.
Donald was an independent, loving man who will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express appreciation to the VA Hospital for their continued help and concern during the last few months of his life.
